ALVI presents the “Breeze” bassinet at Kind + Jugend

Advertorial: At this year’s Kind + Jugend, the ALVI label presented their newest products. In addition to the “Breeze” bassinet, visitors could admire the new knitted blankets, furniture in the trend colour grey, and the new designs of the ALVI Baby-Mäxchen. After the sleeping bag was honoured with the prestigious Midwife Test seal last year, the Malte mattress has now also achieved a recommendation rate of 100% in a test with 50 midwives.

Sweet Dreams

The ALVI Baby-Mäxchen grows with the child for the first 1.5 years. Its special form offers several advantages. Since the sleeping bag rests against the child’s chest and back, and runs downwards in the shape of a pear, nothing can slip. The leg-space allows the baby plenty of freedom to kick and move. The sleeping bag comprises an outer bag that grows with the child, and two inner bags in different sizes.

The Baby-Mäxchen was developed in cooperation with midwives, doctors, and nurses. At Kind + Jugend 2017, the brand presented its eleven new designs.

Recommended by midwives

Last year, the Baby-Mäxchen was tested by expert midwives and received a positive result. The sleeping bag from ALVI received the top “very good” mark in all categories. The company built on its success this year with the “Malte” mattress, which also received a 100% best rating.

Golden slumbers

For generations, the bassinet has been the solution when it comes to having the little one in the parents’ bedroom while sleeping. The “Breeze” by ALVI comprises an underframe and a spacious basket made of cream coloured polyrattan. The basket’s flat surface can also be used without additional nesting. The material facilitates the circulation of air within the basket.

The frame’s special concept allows the parents to move the bassinet while taking the strain off their backs. The four braked wheels ensure easy movement. Thanks to the cream-colored basket design and the white frame, the bassinet can be flexibly integrated into the home.

This season’s trend colour

The ALVI brand says: “Grey is the new white”. This is clear in the traditional company’s most famous pieces of furniture, where the colour grey is mixed with a cool silver tone. The result: from October 2017, the “Sina” cradle, the “Birthe” bassinet, and the “Jens” baby bed will be available in the trend colour, silver grey.

Snuggle time is knitted blanket time

ALVI has expanded its range of blankets with a collection of knitted blankets. The blankets are made of pure cotton to ensure a consistently pleasant body temperature for the baby. The result is three stylish designs.

The knitted blankets are available in the contrasting design “Anchor”, which uses blue and white tones to bring the calming sea noise into the child’s bedroom. The “Stars silver” design is stylish and timeless. The modern design of the “Streifenfant” blanket creates beautiful accents, with silver tones and a mixed pattern of circles, stripes, and elephants.
