CBME Turkey banks on children’s fashion for the January edition
With its 34th edition from 10 to 13 January 2018, CBME Turkey aims to once again emphasize its position as the central trade fair and industry get-together for products in the baby, children’s and maternity sector in the region of North Africa, the Middle East and the CIS states.
Istanbul’s CNR Expo Centre is expected to attract 15,000 visitors from 80 countries. The exhibitor portfolio includes around 750 brands. In addition to Turkish manufacturers from ACR Ciciko and Akal Tekstil to Zuzu Toys, there are also a few European Kids fashion and hardware brands such as Tuc Tuc from Spain and Ferlioni from the Ukraine.
The next January issue of CBME will also include the Istanbul Kids Fashion on which the organizers want to put emphasis on. Istanbul Kids Fashion is considered Turkey’s largest international fashion event for the professional public. 165 exhibitors present 290 brands on 20,000 square meters of exhibition space.
The British trend analyst WGSN and the Spanish design agency Minicool, which specializes in children’s fashion, will also be accompanying the trade fair with special lectures: WGSN on 11 January and Minicool on 10 January, also at 2 pm.
Turkey is considered the seventh-largest market for textile production worldwide and the second largest in Europe. The country is also the fifth largest cotton producer in the world.
