Igedo: Ulrike Kähler joins the management board
Ulrike Kähler, previously authorized office of the Igedo Company, has been appointed second managing director since 1 January 2018. This was decided by the shareholders’ meeting of the Igedo Company at the turn of the year.
Ulrike Kähler has been a member of the Executive Board since 2014 and has more than earned this further career step through her extraordinary commitment to her projects in Düsseldorf, “explains Philipp Kronen, Managing Director of the Igedo Company.
With immediate effect, Ulrike Kähler is the managing director of the company next to Phillip Kronen.
Appreciation of Kähler’s commitment
The managing director is pleased about the appreciation: “For me it is a great recognition for my dedication and my unconditional belief in this nearly 70 years old family business in the third generation! I believe in our formats, our service, our attractiveness and the potential of our framework with which we set international standards in terms of time and aesthetics. Applying talents sensibly, connecting people, being involved in the development of innovative projects and leading them: that’s what drives me. I would like to make a valuable contribution and make a difference.”
New areas of responsibility
The personnel decision is followed by a new division of responsibilities. Accordingly, Phillip Kronen will focus on the areas of finance, controlling, human resources and corporate strategy. Ulrike Kähler, on the other hand, will take over the areas of trade fair strategy and marketing, which is intended to advance the orientation of the Gallery and the Gallery Shoes at the Düsseldorf location. Phillip Kronen is in a confident mood and places great trust in Ulrike Kähler: “Intelligence and emotionality are fundamental to the fashion business and essential for the success of our trade fairs. We have been working together for almost ten years. I have every confidence in Ulrike Kähler.”
Project manager Christian Kasch, who has headed the CPM Moscow for almost 15 years, completes the Igedo management team.
Confident view into the future
Kähler is pleased with the new challenges and looks ahead to the future: “In the next few years, I would like to achieve a great deal with my colleagues in the team and in the management of the fashion location Düsseldorf, but also in the further development of CPM in Moscow. My ambition is unbroken.”
