KIDS NOW offers support to bricks-and-mortar retailers
With the slogan “Be part of it now”, KIDS NOW is inviting children’s fashion industry exhibitors and visitors to the Messe-Center Rhein-Main from 12-14 January. In the upcoming edition, the INSIDE KIDS NOW concept, which was first presented in July 2017, will introduce newcomer labels from countries including Belgium, France, Great Britain, and the Netherlands. In addition to a holistic market overview, visitors will receive helpful tips relating to POS.
“Our goal is to use KIDS NOW to sustainably support retailers. The foundation of this is undoubtedly a comprehensive product portfolio, which informs visitors about the most important trends for the upcoming season. However, visitors will also receive further ideas that they can use to provide additional purchasing incentives for their customers. Last but not least, our Instagram workshop offers practical tips on how to use social media to profitably market your business,” explains Axel Fehse, Project Manager at KIDS NOW.
INSIDE KIDS NOW presents an international brand portfolio
The INSIDE KIDS NOW project was first presented in July 2017. According to Teresa Mertz, Head of PR Marketing & Communication at KIDS NOW, the concept was very well-received. More than 20 international brands could be seen in this special area.
This year, an international brand portfolio will again be presented in the INSIDE KIDS NOW area. “With newcomer labels from Belgium, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden, we are offering retailers a unique variety, so they can plan their product range. That means they have the option of creating a USP for their own specialist shop,” says Axel Fehse.
A shopping guide will introduce the exhibiting labels, and support visitors as they make introductions and place orders on site.
Newcomers to the January edition include: Amelie et Sophie, Bardossa, By Alex Playmats, Mapanda, Mats Merthe, mia & mika, stay little, Maromini, Motherlove, SEÑORITA LEMONIEZ, Snoozebaby, Suindiatic, Timidom, Infantium Victoria, Koh Mabby, You N ‘ME.
TRENDSPACE offers mannequins and deco ideas
In the KIDS NOW exhibition foyer, visitors can get inspiration for their own POS. In the TRENDSPACE, several mannequins and deco ideas will be presented. Participating manufacturers include: fella4stores, Hindsgaul, and the Penther Formes Group. In addition, visitors will have the chance to win one of five mannequins after the show.
“The missing jigsaw piece” for your own business
In the Puzzles Area, newcomers, young designers, accessories suppliers, and service providers will present their innovative products. In addition, the “fast movers” category offers low-cost ideas for creating purchasing incentives for customers.
New trends in the shoe segment will be presented in the KIDS SHOES area.
Just like last year, the communication coach Viney Lugani will offer a social media workshop in this edition. In July 2017, the theme was “Instagram – an all-in-one solution?”. For this edition, the theme will be social media marketing for the “shop around the corner”. According to Mertz, the workshop will provide orientation around “current affairs” and trends in specialist retail.
