Hardly any other event has such an influence on merchandising and special editions as the World Cup. This is no less true in the area of children’s fashion. Just in time for this year’s World Cup in Russia from June 14 to July 15, Boss is also jumping on the bandwagon and is currently launching a Worldcup Capsule Collection.

The target group is the two to 16-year-old football fans. Sales are handled by C.W.F. Children Worldwide Fashion, headquartered in Düsseldorf, the global licensing partner of Boss Kidswear.

Inspired by sport and emotion, the capsule includes T-shirts, polo shirts and caps in the colours of the countries where it is to be distributed: Germany, Spain, Brazil, France, England and Russia.

The T-shirts are priced at 49 euros, polo shirts at 69 euros and caps at 39 euros each. A bit unfortunate: An Italian edition is also included, although the Tifosi had not managed to qualify for Russia.

Positive feedback on Boss’s children’s collection for the World Cup

“Demand for the capsule was very good. Approximately 50 percent of our Boss-Kids customers have achieved value for the delivery of goods carriers. In addition, we also supply a World Cup football for visual merchandising,” explains Christian Storath, Commercial Manager Germany/Austria of C.W.F. Children Worldwide Fashion, the official licensing partner of Boss Kidswear, to Luna Journal.

C.W.F. also supplies the trade with a special goods carrier with generous shelves on glass floors and a clothes rail protruding from the side, so that the capsule can be optimally presented at the POS.

With the Capsule Collection, Boss wants to further expand its 30-year commitment to football and international sponsorship. Clubs such as Real Madrid, FC Bayern, AS Rome and Paris SG are already supported by the Metzingers.
