As part of the fall edition of German Press Days on 19 and 20 October, the fashion capital of Berlin will be enriched by a showroom especially for children’s fashion, shoes, and lifestyle.

The COOKIES SHOW organisers returned successfully this summer with a new trade fair concept. Now, they are filling a gap with their participation in the German Press Days in Berlin. At times, only a few children’s brands have been represented officially at the Press Days and, unfortunately for the visitors, these have been spread across different agencies.

The COOKIES SHOWROOM includes a selection of well-known brands and exciting newcomers in the areas of children’s fashion, shoes, and lifestyle. The Bettina Ramin agency will be there to represent the brands JOYHAIR, Merci Marie, Seidenweiss, and PO! PARIS. Daniela Müller from the Internationale Kindermoden fashion agency will also be there to represent ALLUDE, EUROPEAN CULTURE, GUESS Kids, MAPERO, Napapijri, Pantofola d`Oro, PATRIZIA PEPE, Rosemunde, Seafolly, RETOUR Jeans, SKURK, and SUNDEK. Brands from neighbouring countries will be presenting their F/W 17/18 products and some highlights for S/S 18. These labels include the Polish brands Mr. Tail and TITOT Baby Fashion, and the Swiss children’s fashion label Joosephs. The shoe labels Bundgaard, ECCO, FOOTI, KAVAT, LEPI, Lurchi, Naturino, and VIKING will also be exhibiting. From the care sector, Curaprox and boep will be participating. For the German labels, the traditional company maximo and the high-end label Maisonnoée Kids will be exhibiting in the studio at Checkpoint Charlie. The afilii platform for child-friendly design and architecture will take care of the creative shop window design, in addition to that from “Mit Liebe gemacht”.

On the two days of the COOKIES SHOWROOM, breakfast will be served between 10 am and 12 noon. The programme will be rounded off by two expert talks:

11:00 Jessica Schoberth – Lurchi

Answers to questions about children’s feet and buying shoes

When should I buy my child’s first shoes?

What does WMS mean?

How useful is it to ask the child whether the shoe fits?

How do I know if the shoe still fits?

Can I pass on shoes to siblings? and much more

11:30 Katja Runge – afilii – Design for kids

Mindfulness in the children’s bedroom

Playing, learning, chilling, sleeping – it’s not easy to bring together everything in just one room. Katja Runge, founder and curator of the afilii platform for creative design + architecture, will reveal why less is more, and how mindfulness can play an important role.
