Messe Frankfurt invites to Tendence from 29 June to 1 July 2019. The consumer-goods fair attracts 80 percent national and 20 percent international trade visitors. Among other things, afilii, the platform for child-friendly design, will present the curated joint stand “design for kids” with 12 selected manufacturers and designers from nine countries.

In addition to the large exhibition, Tendence also offers a broad supporting programme for visitors. Accordingly, it creates future-oriented added value for exhibitors and visitors and is thus even more closely geared to the needs of buyers.

The structure of the consumer-goods fair

In 2019, the concept of Hall 8 will be geared to consumers’ lifestyle worlds. Thus there will be a city with different districts and experience places. In Hall 9 visitors will find the entire range of seasonal decorations for all the events of the year, while in Hall 11 exhibitors will be presenting their products for the order run for the seasonal spring ranges. In Hall 12, exhibitors will concentrate on classic and modern designs.

In Style City Hall 8, the concept store concept will be visualised for the first time in an entire hall. The hall is divided into the sections “Urban”, “Cosy”, “Modern”, “Earth” and “Adventure”. In the “Urban” area, visitors will encounter a hip and trendy street style that incorporates Scandinavian influences and retro trends. “Cosy” offers a mixture of modern Scandinavian style and purist design. The “Modern” section represents a straightforward style that comprises clear forms and colours and is oriented towards the mainstream. A composition consisting of ethnology and folklore meets the visitors in the “Earth” zone. This is aimed at an environmentally conscious and mindful target group. Trash Deluxe can be found in the “Adventure” area, where visitors are immersed in a funky and ironic world. In some cases even socio-political topics are taken up.
