From 22 to 24 June 2018, FIMI Madrid welcomed about 200 exhibitors from 11 countries to the Pabellón de Cristal in Madrid. These include Bulgaria, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Turkey.

In this edition, especially the return of the Spanish premium label Mayoral, which was represented at the children’s fashion fair FIMI for the first time with the festive Abel & Lula line, was a reason for celebration. In addition to the Spanish brand majority, Portugal presented around 14 exhibitors to increase its visibility in the European market. These include Baby Gi, Beppi Kids, Lion of Porches, Piccolo Speranza and Wedouble. The two brands Blue Seven and Sterntaler came from Germany.

Focus on the “See Me” trend section

In addition to long-established brands, the organizer is focusing on the “See Me” trend area when it comes to communication and the press. Around 50 brands such as Tarantela, Oh Petit!, Osamore and Stay Little present collections that are focused on the international market in terms of design language.

“See Me brands such as Pinata Pum make the fair particularly attractive to the international press and buyers. This year FIMI is growing steadily and can look forward to an international audience”, says Beatriz Juárez, Milk Comunicacion.

The fair was rounded off by the exhibition of student collections (in the “Nuditos” section) and the “New Fimi” section, where both accessory brands and beauty manufacturers such as children’s perfume producer Roofa presented their innovations.
