Dorothee Seidensticker, the face behind Seidenweiss, creates high-quality celebration clothing for babies and toddlers. Her dresses use a size-independent binding technology, so that, combined with long robes, they can be transformed into a christening dress – a refined detail that Seidensticker has patented.

The Seidenweiss dresses and bloomers are suitable for a formal ceremony as well as for a family celebration. The models are crafted from lace, pure silk, and soft linen. In addition, the range offers a selection of accessories such as shoes, baptism bonnets, headbands, bibs, dummy bands, and hairpins.

Dorothee Seidensticker has extensive experience in the sector, having worked for ten years as a product manager, in sales, and as a designer. At the beginning of 2015, she launched her own label, which has since recorded a steady growth. The label is now available in children’s clothing stores such as August Pfüller, Korbmayer and Lodenfrey. The next step and the logical consequence, explains Seidensticker, will be expansion. “The move abroad requires careful preparation. In doing so, I will be taking care that Seidenweiss grows in a healthy way, to avoid any loss of quality.”
