Antoine Elie is the new Managing Director for the US subsidiary of the Kidiliz Group, formerly Group Zannier. Since September last year, he has been in charge of the expansion of the French children’s fashion company in the region.

The Kidiliz Group represents a total of eight labels in the North American market, including Kenzo Kids, Jean Bourget, Lili Gaufrette, Paul Smith Junior, 3 Pommes and Catimini, which are distributed through wholesalers, department stores and online. The Catimini brand launched its e-shop a year ago, which, according to those responsible, is developing very promisingly.

Antoine Elie’s area of responsibility at Kidiliz

Antoine Elie acquired his skills in a career of more than ten years in the fashion industry. He has also served as International Manager for brands such as Naf Naf and Suncoo. His experience to date should equip Elie well for the position and his new role. In addition to strengthening Kidiliz’s presence in the USA, Elie will also be responsible for the expansion of the group in the neighboring markets of Mexico and Canada. New trading partners are to be established in countries such as Mexico and Canada. Elie’s responsibilities also include the consolidation of partnerships. The aim is to offer a higher quality of services, which are to be adapted to customer wishes and needs.

Kidiliz takeover

As Luna Journal reported in October, the Kidiliz Group was taken over by Semir Group in October 2018. The Chinese Semir Group is one of the giants of the clothing industry. In 2017, the French group achieved a turnover of 430 million euros, of which 50 percent was attributable to international sales.
