In addition to a diverse range of offers, Supreme Kids presented the second Luna Journal Business Talk in the MTC world of fashion from 14-16 July 2017. The discussion panel included Gabriel Zboralski, Managing Director of the Sanetta Group, Martin Weczera, Managing Director of Nanga Shoes, and Florian Henneka, Managing Director of Korbmayer. The panel exchanged views and experiences on the topic “Retailers and manufacturers in the days of e-commerce and Amazon”, with the discussion moderated by Dr. Sixt von Schulzendorff, Managing Director of Luna media Group.

With well-known exhibitors and inspiring newcomers, Supreme Kids attracted numerous visitors from all over Germany, plus buyers from Italy and Austria, to the Bavarian state capital in mid-June. Sybille Mutschler took over the project management for Supreme Kids at the end of April 2017. She is more than satisfied with her first show: “It was a big challenge to take on Germany’s biggest order platform in the children’s fashion sector, which makes me even happier about the result: The strong visitor numbers show that the buyers appreciate our balanced collection mix, the good working atmosphere, and our high quality standards.”

The Luna Journal Business Talk took place again as part of Supreme Kids. Visitors were very much interested in the Business Talk as a platform for discussion and exchange. In this edition, industry members discussed the growth of e-commerce platforms and their impact and opportunities for retailers and manufacturers.

Gabriel Zboralski, Managing Director of Sanetta Group, said: “It is especially because of e-commerce that we have to make more of an effort in the bricks-and-mortar retail sector: that includes everything from the shop window display right through to the customer service. Collections that are exclusively available offline will certainly be an important trend for the future. In this regard, Supreme Kids is a source of positive inspiration and remains the most important order platform in Germany.”
