Stokke AS, Norway’s leading design and distribution company for high-quality children’s products, announced on May 23, 2018 that it has acquired 51% of JetKids AS and its subsidiary BarnOmbord AS.

BedBox from JetKids for travelling families

As a developer and manufacturer of first-class travel solutions for children, JetKids is an ideal addition to Stokke’s product portfolio. Especially the multifunctional and original JetKids BedBox which can be easily transformed from a suitcase with hand luggage dimensions into a comfortable aircraft bed or into an airplane footstool for children up to seven years of age. The BedBox, already approved by numerous international airlines, is enjoying growing popularity and has considerable potential.

BarnOmbord – Baby on board

Also new in the portfolio: BarnOmbord: Baby on board. The Norwegian rental and distribution company offers families a wide range of products and services when travelling. As the industry leader, Stokke stands for Scandinavian design that promotes parent-child bonding and healthy development in childhood. Together with JetKids and BarnOmbord, Stokke aims to strengthen its market share with an even better product range.
