Playmobil is the new license partner of Boxine GmbH. Playmos audio plays can soon be heard on the Toniebox.

The Düsseldorf company Boxine, inventor of the audio system Toniebox, has entered into a new cooperation. The Tonie portfolio will be expanded to include Playmobil‘s Playmos. The company has thus gained one of the largest license partners to date and is also launching a new product on the market. With the help of a Tonie clip, the Playmobil figures can be turned into Tonies.

Playmobil audio plays for Toniebox

“We are delighted to be working with Playmobil,” says Patric Faßbender, Managing Director of Tonies. His partner Marcus Stahl adds: “This adds a few great new products to the Tonies range and takes the Tonies system to a whole new dimension.

The Playmos audio plays, in which the little boy Tobi’s favourite characters come to life, have been popular for many years. First there will be the episode “The Treasure of Devil’s Island”. Further, among other things, “The Tournament at the King’s Knight’s Castle” and “The Ball in the Princess Castle” will be added. “The Tonie clip is a continuation of the previous system and the basis for many further developments,” says Sven Vaders, marketing director of the Tonies, “with this new invention we have taken the first step towards expanding the entire system.”

Tonie range to be expanded

The range is also to be expanded this year to include other topics from previous licensors. From February, firefighter Sam will be available as Tonie. In the course of the year other popular child heroes follow like the bee Maja, so that the assortment of approximately 150 Tonies will increase to far over 200 pieces.
