Children’s feet are particularly sensitive. Nevertheless, nothing beats a natural barefoot feeling. Since 2014, the Munich company Slipstop has sold its colourful fabric slippers for children of all ages in sizes 18 to 35. Because of the great demand, the brand has now also released models for fathers and mothers as a mini-me collection.

Slipstops are designed to stylishly protect against the risk of slipping in wet conditions, and against hot sand, bugs, bees, and, of course, bacteria and germs. The kids’ slippers can also be used in indoor areas, whether at playschool, at ballet lessons, or at home. The colour palette ranges from bright pinks and violet tones to different shades of blue. In addition to plain colours in fuchsia, black, and navy, the larger models for adults also feature muted maritime prints and casual jeans looks.

According to the manufacturer, the slippers offer safety on wet, damp, and slippery surfaces thanks to a special anti-slip sole. They also stow away particularly well, which Myslipstop says makes them ideal for families who are out and about a lot, whether in the city, in the countryside, or on holiday.

In addition, the brand expressly refrains from using hazardous plasticisers and adhesives. Slipstops are waterproof and made of breathable, fast-drying fabric. In terms of price, the barefoot slippers are between 24.90 and 26.90 euros (sales price). The mini-me combinations are priced at 51.80 euros (sales price). The sizes range from XS to XL. Sales have already begun via the company’s own e-commerce platform. Specialist retailers can place their orders throughout the year. For retailers with Munich postcodes, individual sales representatives can be requested directly from Myslipstop. Separate individual orders are also possible.
