On 20 April 2018, the organizer ITE Moda announced that the national trade fair for the British industry will close after more than ten years. Bubble London invited British retailers to the Business Design Center in Islington twice a year. The July 2018 edition will, therefore, not take place.

“The children’s clothing industry has changed a lot in the last ten years. In order to make the grade, we have constantly developed our trade fair concept further”, says Lindsay Hoyes, Event Director of Bubble London. “Last year, however, it became clear that today’s conditions in the children’s fashion industry and the respective budgets of the individual brands make it difficult to realize the Bubble London. We therefore decided to close the fair instead of compromising the values Bubble London stands for.”

The children’s fashion fair, which is also popular for key international markets, already informed the participants of the children’s fashion fair about the end.

For Event Director Hoyes, it was an incredible experience to work at Bubble London for over 10 years: “I would like to thank the entire team,” says Hoyes. “The numerous conversations we have had with brands and retailers in recent weeks have made it clear that the event will be well remembered.”
