Increased customer orientation at shoe manufacturer Geox – the Italian company is relying on personalization with integrated LED functions and message programming in the upcoming fall/winter season.

Personalization through LED technologies

The Italian shoe company is launching the “X-LED” model for the first time in the course of constantly developing technologies: a sneaker with LED strip lighting included at the level of the heel. The customer can choose between four different, pre-programmed light sequences on the left shoe. On the right shoe, Bluetooth lettering or individual messages can be created with an app for smartphone (iOS and Android). The Italians are thus relying on the increasingly new, technology-oriented generation. Available in sizes 31 to 39 (SP 89.95 to 94.95 Euro).


Pokemon by Geox

Geox will also be launching the new Pokémon series (SP 59.95 Euro to 74.95 Euro) with integrated LED functions from July 2018. The Japanese characters of the publisher Nintendo adorn around fourteen low sneaker models. All shoes come with the Geox Breathing System, which gives the child’s foot enough room to breathe. With this, the Italian shoe manufacturer refers to its well-known qualities: Breathability, heat regulation and water impermeability.


Focus product “Shoe”

With a sales share of over 90%, shoes are by far the company’s most important product. The products are sold through specialist retailers as well as through the 1,161 own mono-label stores worldwide. The most important market for Geox is Italy, where about one third of sales were generated.
