The Norwegian company Viking Footwear was awarded the ISPO Award 2019 and the Scandinavian Outdoor Award 2019 for the new winter boot Hero GTX for children.

In the Urban Kids-Footwear category, the Viking brand received the award at ISPO 2019, where the jury consisted of 43 members from twelve countries. Among the decision makers were designers, retailers, brand specialists, journalists and athletes. The Viking Hero GTX received an award from the jury for its warmth, comfort and reflective protection properties, which, when combined, move on a completely different level. The expert jury of the Scandinavian Outdoor Awards were also enthusiastic about the quality of the children’s shoe and awarded the Viking brand the Scandinavian Outdoor Group Award in the Kids category.

Viking Hero GTX provides all-round protection

The Viking Hero GTX children’s shoe from the 2019/20 winter collection features perfect insulation, good water resistance and breathability, as well as optimum cushioning, pleasant wearing comfort and 360-degree all-round protection. The winter boot is also made of very resistant synthetic material, which easily withstands the everyday activities of a child and at the same time provides comfortable support for the child’s feet.

A highly reflective mesh pattern with a supporting TPU frame is placed around the complete boot for better visibility in the dark. The reinforced toes and heel, a warm and soft inner lining and a 100% waterproof Gore-Tex membrane ensure good wearing comfort.

The shoe is available in the big 20 to 33 and in the colours Black/Charcoal, Navy/Blue and Aubergine/Purple.
